Heartleaf Philodendron
A classic trailing beauty with heart-shaped leaves and an easygoing nature. Like a pothos with softer, greener foliage — it vines happily and forgives a missed watering.

Light
Medium to bright indirect light. It tolerates lower light but grows leggy and sparse there.
No direct sun — it'll burn those tender leaves.
Water
Water when the top inch or two dries out. Philodendrons like consistent moisture but not soggy soil.
Reduce in winter when growth slows.
Soil & pot
A light, well-draining potting mix with some perlite. Drainage hole essential.
Humidity & temperature
It loves humidity — misting or a pebble tray helps, but it'll manage in normal rooms. Keep it 65–80°F.
Propagation
Root stem cuttings in water, just like pothos. Take a piece with a node and a couple leaves.
